Criteria for evaluation should also comprise the following:

• need of systems/technologies
• functionality/efficiency
• advantages/disadvantages

Give your opinion about the systems/technologies that being chosen.

The purpose of this assignment is designed to provide you with an opportunity to investigate the use of information technologies in a selected information agency.

• Required to examine and study the uses of IT in any of department ( e.g : acquisition, cataloging,circulation,reference,etc)

• Include detailed process,activities/procedures use or involve in the chosen department  ( e.g : acquisition process,cataloging process,circulation process,preservation and conservation process,binding process,weeding process,customer care,financial,Human resources)

Include:

• Introduction
• Mission,goals and objective of the department
• Departmental/Organization chart
• Specify the use of computer and information technologies in the selected department,process,activity and procedure.
• Specify when the library function in the library department or in the information agency has been automated
• Indicate the reasons for the automation
• Indicate the benefit derive from the automation
• Indicate the limitation derive from the automation
• Include your suggestion/recommendations
• Conclusion
